I have been quite stressed out abt work lately, not that I hv not seen similar or worse situations, but I guess we arw talking abt a whole different dimension here. Many ppl in our society choose to ignor and even despise others who are less fortunate or of a lower social class, many ppl don't wanna have a bar of it and pretend horrible things dont happen around the corner...as long as it does not affect them.

What we don't see is the cruel reality of life and the never ending cycle of pain that snowballs and snowballs. Unfortunately for many ppl and families they are constantly going through rough patches and facing obstacles after obstacles. These viscious problems are so intense, so extreme and so disabling one cannot begin to imagine. Yet day in day out these ppl suffer and learnt no other ways but to go short cuts in order to survive and stay afloat.

It is amazing how resilient and strong some ppl become, not by choice but by the pressures of the environment they live in. Ppl make their own choices at the end of the day, and we cannot entirely shift their responsibilities away for what they have done, however if they were given the opportunity to learn any better and if they had the support at a time that they most need, things could be different and there may be better outcomes.

However for some ppl the damage already done in the past for them is irresversible, the sad thing is that you cannot seem to see light at the end if the tunnel for these ppl and the cycle repeats itself all over again. What chances do these ppl have?
